Workshop Guide

Conditions: By booking a spot, you declare that you have the legal capacity to enter into a contract and fully accept the terms outlined here.

Price and materials: Price is per person and includes the use of the space and all materials necessary for the activity. Whether firing is included depends on the specific workshop option — details are listed on each experience.

Minimum age: Participants must be at least 5 years old. Participants under 18 must have written authorization from a parent or guardian, or be accompanied by an adult if under 14.

Capacity: Workshops have limited spots to provide personalized attention.

Language: We speak Catalan, Spanish, and English.

Location: Our studio is located in Pòrtol, at Carrer Major, 45 (see contact page). If a workshop takes place at a different location, you will always be informed in advance.

Date changes: We know things come up. You can move your booking to a new date up to 72 hours before your session. This is subject to availability, and the new date must be chosen within 3 months of the original booking.

Cancellations and refunds: Bookings are non-refundable. If you do not attend the session without prior notice or if you notify us outside the 72-hour window, the booking will be considered fulfilled.

Transferable bookings: If you finally cannot make it, you can pass your spot to another person. Let us know in advance so we know who is coming.

Rescheduling: Workshops require a minimum number of participants to take place. For this reason, or due to logistical issues or force majeure, we reserve the right to modify or reschedule a session. If this happens, we will offer you a new date, a voucher, or a refund.

Punctuality: We recommend arriving on time to enjoy the experience from the very beginning. In case of delay, the workshop time cannot be extended. Please always respect the end time of your session.

What to bring: We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty (clay washes out easily with water). Also, please keep in mind that our studio is not climate-controlled, so we advise dressing according to the season.

Participation and safety: Workshops involve manual work with ceramic tools and materials. Please follow the studio's safety guidelines at all times and be responsible for your own work. Use equipment and materials with care. We are not responsible for any damage or injury resulting from improper use or failure to follow instructions.

Tidiness and cleaning: Keep your workspace clean and organized. Please collect and clean all tools and materials after use to leave the space ready for the next person.

Respect and care: Our studio is a place of calm and creation. Please move around with care and avoid touching pieces that aren't yours - raw clay is extremely fragile. We reserve the right to interrupt or limit participation in the event of inappropriate behavior that affects safety or the experience of others.

Piece size: We work with small or medium-sized pieces, designed to be properly shaped within the studio's timeframe. As a general rule, pieces must fit within a maximum volume of 30 × 30 × 30 cm. If you have a specific idea in mind, let us know at the start and we will help you adapt it.

Results: Ceramics is a beautiful but sometimes unpredictable artisanal process. We do everything possible to ensure each piece comes out of the kiln successfully. However, during drying or firing, pieces can warp, develop small cracks, or experience variations in glaze colors. In isolated cases, pieces may even break. This variability is part of the craft, so we cannot guarantee exact results or the full preservation of every piece.

Collection and delivery: Delivery times for fired pieces are approximate and depend on the drying process and kiln volume. As soon as they are ready, we will notify you to come and pick them up at the studio. Pieces must be collected within a maximum period of 3 months from that point. After this time, due to space limitations, we reserve the right to dispose of them.

Shipping: If you live far away or cannot come to collect your pieces, we can arrange shipping. Costs will be calculated based on size, weight, and destination, and must be paid in advance.

During the workshops, we may take photographs or videos for promotional and communication purposes on our website or social media channels. If you prefer not to appear in any images, just let us know at the start of your session and we will respect your choice.

If you are a member of our Ceramic Club, these additional guidelines apply:

Kiln management: The Ceramic Club fee does not include firing. Firing costs will be calculated and paid separately based on the volume or space occupied in the kiln. The kiln is operated exclusively by our staff.

Using your own materials: The Ceramic Club includes access to our house clay and glazes. If you wish to bring your own materials, it must strictly comply with the high-temperature range we work with in the studio to avoid damaging the kiln. Please provide us with the technical data sheet before using it.
