'Tu Pots' Introduction to Ceramics Course

Looking for a beginner’s ceramics course in Mallorca? Over 4 sessions of 3 hours each, we’ll guide you step by step through the main techniques of modeling and decoration. You’ll experiment, create, and let your creativity flow while shaping unique pieces to take home with you.

This is more than just a course: it’s an experience to connect with your hands, explore materials at your own pace, and enjoy the beauty of the creative process. And because we truly love tradition, we’ll also share small historical insights that will help you appreciate the heritage and timeless beauty of this ancient craft.

Who is it for?
Open to anyone who wants to learn and enjoy ceramics—no prior experience required.

What you’ll do:
- 12 hours of hands-on learning across 4 sessions
- Learn hand-building and decorative techniques
- Create your own unique ceramic pieces
- Discover the traditions and history of Mallorcan ceramics

The 4 sessions:

• Session 1: Meet the clay – Connect with the material, explore its textures, and learn the foundations of hand-building.
• Session 2: Shaping and exploring – Go further with modeling techniques using molds and the slab roller, and experiment with new forms.
• Session 3: Colors and decoration – Discover decorative techniques and play with their creative applications to personalize your pieces.
• Session 4: The world of glazes – An introduction to glazes, how they transform your work, and how to give your creations a lasting finish.
